Gay tourists held for breaking local law

Two California men on a gay cruise of the Caribbean have been arrested in Dominica, where sex between men is illegal. Police Constable John George said the men, aged 41 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and "buggery", but had not yet been charged. The men were seen having sex on the Celebrity Summit cruise ship by someone on the dock, George said. The ship carrying about 2000 passengers departed Puerto Rico on Saturday and arrived in Dominica on Wednesday. The cruise was organised by Atlantis Events, a Southern California company that specialises in gay travel. The two men were being questioned on Wednesday afternoon and the ship was scheduled to depart later.
